Jeff Wojahn

Executive Chairman

Prior to co-founding Middle Fork Energy Partners, Jeff served as a member of the Strategic Advisory Board for Morgan Stanley Energy Partners and Board Member for Bonanza Creek Energy, Inc., where he remains an active Board Member. Jeff served as an Executive Vice President of Encana Corporation from 2003 to 2013 and President of Encana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. from 2006 to 2013.

Jeff has extensive experience in unconventional resource play development and held senior management and operational positions in both Canada and the United States. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Geophysics and Seismology from the University of Calgary and has attended executive education programs at Stanford University and Western University.

Christopher L. Valdez

President & Chief Executive Officer

Prior to co-founding Middle Fork Energy Partners, Chris served as Vice President of Planning and Marketing at Vantage Energy, a Quantum Energy Partners portfolio company. Prior to joining Vantage, Chris worked at Encana Corporation serving in leadership roles including Vice President of Planning, Piceance Basin Asset Manager, and Director of Fundamentals.

Early in his career, Chris worked as a consultant focused on North American natural gas market analysis with Global Energy Decisions and Platts Research and Consulting. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.

Ty Harrison

Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Middle Fork, Ty served as Head of Corporate Development for Citadel LLC’s natural gas platform. Prior to Citadel, Ty held the role of Senior Vice President, Energy Capital at Noble Group where, among other responsibilities, he served on the board of directors of Inflection Energy, a private Marcellus E&P.

Earlier in his career, Ty served in various leadership roles at Freepoint Commodities, Société Générale Energy, RBS Sempra Commodities, and EnCana Oil & Gas. Ty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a minor in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

Frank Merendino

Senior Vice President of Operations

Prior to joining Middle Fork Energy Partners, Frank served as Senior Manager of Drilling and Completions for Western Operations at Encana Services. In this role, Frank was responsible for horizontal drilling, simultaneous operations, and completions in the Piceance, San Juan, DJ, Eagle Ford, and TMS basins. Prior to Encana, Frank held several management and operations roles with JM Huber Corporation, Belden & Blake Corporation, CDX Gas and EQT.

Earlier in his career, Frank served as Vice President of Virginia Gas Company, serving as an officer of the company when the IPO and second offering were issued. Frank holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from West Virginia University and an Advanced Management certificate from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

W. Worth Carlin

Vice President of Land

Prior to joining Middle Fork Energy Partners, Worth served as Senior Vice President of Land at Vantage Energy, a Quantum Energy Partners portfolio company. Prior to joining Vantage, Worth served as Vice President of Land for Range Resources-Appalachia.

Earlier in his career, Worth held various managerial and staff roles at Encana Oil & Gas, Kerr-McGee, Bass Enterprises Production Co, and Sun Oil/Oryx Energy. Worth is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Petroleum Land Management.

Rob Zaback

Vice President of Development

Prior to joining Middle Fork Energy Partners, Rob served as Senior Exploration Engineer and Advisor for U.S. onshore exploration at Anadarko Petroleum. In this role, Rob managed multiple explorations projects in the Rockies and advised on exploration projects throughout the United States.

Earlier in his career, Rob worked at Encana Oil & Gas (USA) serving as reservoir engineer in the Piceance basin, completions engineer in Jonah field, and drilling engineer in the Wind River basin. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming.

Andrew Sandage

Vice President of Accounting

Prior to joining Middle Fork Energy Partners, Andrew served as Manager, Finance and Accounting at Crescent Point Energy. In this role, Andrew was responsible for all aspects of the U.S. company’s finance and accounting. Prior to Crescent Point, Andrew was Controller of Ute Energy, a Quantum portfolio company.

Earlier in his career, Andrew held various management positions with Opportune, Cimarex Energy, and Deloitte. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado.
